Family Planning Victoria's Action Centre will be closed for major refurbishment from July 28 until late September 2017.
Family Planning Victoria’s Melbourne CBD clinic, the Action Centre, has been providing young people under 25 with a suite of reproductive and sexual health services for over 15 years. We are excited to announce that a major refurbishment will be taking place during August and September so that we are able to improve and increase not only the range of clinical services we offer but also to introduce additional services for school students and to relaunch same sex attracted and gender diverse social/ support groups at this Melbourne CBD location.

Expanding our professional training capabilities
This major refurbishment will result in a state of the art training clinic that will enable more Victorian doctors and nurses to undertake clinical training placements with experienced FPV reproductive and sexual health educator clinicians and allow for specialist referral into the service from GPs and other health professionals. An expanded range of services will expose clinical trainees to the full suite of reproductive and sexual health services and improve access to these services for often vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.
