PROJECT OFFICER

Family Planning Victoria is a dynamic provider of sexual and reproductive health care, education and advocacy. We are in an exciting period of strategic development and seek a Project Officer to join us.

 

·         Salary sacrificing available

·         9% superannuation

·         22.8 hours per week

·         Box Hill home base

 

A unique short term contract and part-time project position exists to implement Phase 2 of the Sexual and Reproductive Health of Young Victorians. The implementation and outcomes of Phase 2 will support the integration of health promotion activities and provider education in a broader approach to the health and wellbeing of young Victorians.

This is a joint project position between The Women’s Hospital and Family Planning Victoria and will be responsible for:

 

  • The development of a forum for influential individuals and key agencies to promote the sexual and reproductive health of young Victorians
  • assessing the sexual health needs of tertiary students in Victoria
  • conducting a literature review
  • developing two models of shared responsibility, and
  • writing reports based on findings of the project.

 

The position will be managed by an advisory committee with Family Planning Victoria acting as the employer.

SENIOR NURSE

FAMILY PLANNING VICTORIA (FPV) - Clinical Services

 

 

This is a full-time position (38 hours) to drive quality clinical education and nursing care

 

The Senior Nurse is responsible for:

 

·        delivering clinical services as a Sexual and Reproductive Health Nurse (minimum of 2 days per week)

·        implementing quality assurance strategies to ensure nursing services meet national best practice standards

·        management and supervision of nursing staff

·        participating in and monitoring clinical training services and ensuring integration between clinical education and clinical services

 

 

Qualifications:            RN Division 1
Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health

                                    Credentialed Pap test provider

 

Salary:                        FPV and ANF Agreement. Level 4.2

Casual educators

 

FPV is looking for experienced sexual health educators to add to our casual bank to undertake teaching and professional development activities in school and community settings across Victoria on a casual basis.

 

To apply, you must meet the following key selection criteria: 

•     registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

•     an excellent knowledge of sexual and reproductive health

•     high quality teaching skills and the capacity to manage and engage young people

•     high level communication skills

•     a willingness to develop their professional practice

•     a current Victorian Driver’s license.
