Parent and carer information

In schools

Recent research shows most parents and carers want their children to receive sexuality education at school. A great way to engage and reassure the parents and carers in your school is through having an information night. We can help you tailor a session that meets the particular needs of your group. Fees apply. For more information, please contact our registrar on T/ 03 9257 0133 or at E/ registrar@fpv.org.au.

For other parent groups

When it comes to sex, young people do listen to their parents. According to Australia's biggest survey of secondary students and sexual health (conducted by La Trobe University), nearly 60% of young people use their mothers for information and over 30% use their fathers.

If you lack confidence or want to increase your knowledge and ask questions in a safe environment, you can organise a group of 10 or more parents and carers for us to then deliver a session to for a fee. For more information, please contact our registrar on T/ 03 9257 0133 or at E/ registrar@fpv.org.au.
