Certificate course - The Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Medical Practitioners
This intensive and comprehensive course for GPs, accredited nationally by Sexual Health & Family Planning Australia (SH&FPA), the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), provides training for excellence in the delivery of sexual and reproductive health in primary care. Specialist update days
Medical practitioners not attending our full certificate course can attend individual days on a specific area of sexual and reproductive health. There are no examination requirement. Supervised Clinical Attachments and Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion
Clinical attachments and IUD insertion training is available at our Box Hill clinic (RACGP points apply). The Action Centre attachment is particularly relevant for medical practitioners with an interest in adolescent sexual and reproductive health (fees apply).
